This year we will have a special guest, John Mele, who will speak with parents about how to speak to their young children about drugs and alcohol and how to notice signs of potential use, among other topics. A question and answer session will follow. John has been a speaker at many area middle and high schools.
The overall focus will be on healthy living and will include many hands on activities. Information on nutrition, physical activity, safety and health practices will be offered and resources and giveaways will be available.
DJ Rachel will be spinning family friendly popular tunes and will be encouraging folks to participate in various group dances. Interactive demonstrations and fun games will be an important part of this event. Fresh fruit and cheese and crackers will be served.
Everything is free of charge! What better way to spend a cold winter’s day with your children? The fair is for all area families.
