The town of Hamden will hold its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Friday, Jan. 12th from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in Thornton Wilder Hall at the Miller Library complex, 2901 Dixwell Ave.
This event offers attendees the opportunity to reflect on Dr. King’s life, his mission, and how he has affected our lives. Members of the public are invited to atted and light refreshments will be served.
Mayor Curt Balzano Leng will welcome guests to the celebration. The keynote speaker will be Hamden Police Chief Thomas Wydra. The moderator for the event will be Rev. Sallie Lowry of Gabriel Outreach Ministry in New Haven.
